Whimsy

Beth Ferguson, January 12, 2011

“Oh, for the wonder that bubbles into my soul.”  ~~ D. H. Lawrence

Today has been such a peaceful day.  I am blessed beyond measure.

We are on day 3 of snow … which is simply amazing.  While I feel some restlessness with being out of school, I am grateful for the slower pace, time to think about work outside of the usual structure and limits on time.

I am grateful for my work … especially for my colleagues.  They bless my life with such knowledge, understanding, desire to do well.  They provide the gift of laughter!  Thank you, Lord, for planting me in this place, at this time, for this purpose, with these friends!

Whimsical

Besides spending time with colleagues, I had dinner with my best friend.  We enjoyed our favorite Mexican restaurant together … good food!  We walked through a nearby arts/crafts store after dinner … just to take in a stroll.  We examined the home decor fabric.  He liked these two designs … one is whimsical .. the other, contemporary … he has a great eye for design.  I’m thankful for his friendship, his talents, our time together.
I’m grateful today for the wonderful people in my life!
