Connecting life, scripture, and poetry

laughing, crying, growing …

Beth Ferguson, November 12, 2012November 12, 2020

Today I’m thankful for my  job.  I wish I could say I love my  job – I don’t love it exactly.  I do find it fascinating, though.  It’s much like a puzzle … tough curriculum, testing expectations, motivating teens … all have to come together in something called academic achievement.  There is that old quote … “what doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger.”  Today I am thankful for experiences that won’t kill me … but make me laugh, cry, and make me grow.  That’s my work!
