Hooray for grandsons!

Beth Ferguson, November 16, 2012November 12, 2020

Day 16: Today I’m thankful for grandsons. Fridays are special for many reasons … the end of the work week, hooray … but also it is playtime at Grandma and Granddad’s house on Fridays. Jason and Abby steal away for a few hours of time for themselves … and Colin and Dylan play with us! I love playing with them … we chase, hide, laugh, vroom cars, dance, hunt tigers, and even scream (when something is really funny). We have a loose routine … we fix a kid friendly supper, have a new small toy (dollar or two) out to play with, and then the rest of the evening takes its own path. Sometimes we take a walk around the block or go play at the nearby park … even in the dark … which is particularly fun. Grandsons are such fun! Love these young boys! Love being a part of their routine!
